Kick your 3rd party networking library to the curb

When NSURLConnection was the primary API for networking on iOS, it made sense to delegate this responsibility to a 3rd party library. However, Apple has drastically improved the networking APIs on iOS with the introduction of URLSession, Swift, and Codable. Nowadays, it is relatively easy to build a networking client for your app and customize it to your needs. This talk touches on navigating the decision of using a 3rd party library versus building your own and dives into the power of building and customizing an API client to meet your app’s requirements.
